As you pass Squamish, you’ll leave the ocean behind and find yourself amid the majestic Coast Mountains. Be on the lookout for The Chief, an awe-inspiring granite cliff and famous local landmark.

Pull into Pemberton station and enjoy plenty of time unwinding in this world-famous mountain resort. Stroll through the village and explore its many shops and restaurants or take a ride on the Peak-2-Peak Gondola for sky-high views.

Continue travelling up the Pemberton Valley, gliding past Anderson Lake and Seton Lake. Here, the landscape becomes more rugged, with sheer cliffs on one side and milky-green lakes on the other.

After cruising through the gold-flecked canyons that once drew wagons full of gold prospectors, you’ll find yourself in historic Quesnel. The gold rush may be over, but there are still many treasures to find in this arid ranchland.
